On May 17, 2010, over 225 colleagues gathered at El Museo del Barrio to explore "Next Steps," celebrating the sharing of ideas that keep our institutions and ourselves relevant and engaged. Highlights included:

• Keynote conversation with Claudine Brown (Smithsonian Institution), Deborah Schwartz (Brooklyn Historical Society), Nina Simon (Museums 2.0), and Gonzalo Consals (El Museo del Barrio).

• 15 workshop sessions
• 5 lunchtime peer groups
• Afternoon reception with "Meet-the-Author" opportunities
